Gallarus Oratory is easily accessible by road and is just a 10-minute drive from Dingle Town. Follow the R559 Slea Head Drive, one of Ireland’s most scenic coastal routes, until you reach the clearly-signposted turn for Gallarus. Free parking is available at the visitor centre.

  • From Dingle: 10km (~10 min drive)
  • From Tralee: 55km (~1 hr drive)
  • From Killarney: 75km (~1 hr 10 min drive)

By Bike

Cycling to Gallarus Oratory is a fantastic way to soak in the stunning surroundings of the Dingle Peninsula. The Slea Head Drive loop offers an unforgettable ride with spectacular coastal views along the way. Bike racks are available at the visitor centre.

By Bus

The Local Link bus service connects Dingle to Gallarus Oratory:
